Hand in an old device when you buy a new one
Are you buying an electrical device from us? Then we will take back your old device of the same type free of charge. Hand it in at our store in Rotterdam or Beverwijk, or request a free return label from info@hoxo-shop.com.
Handing in batteries
You can always hand in empty batteries free of charge at our stores, even if you do not buy anything.
How to hand in safely
- Erase your personal data and turn off 'Find My iPhone' or any other account lock before you hand in a phone, tablet or laptop.
- Tape over the terminals of loose lithium batteries.
- Is a battery or device damaged, swollen or hot? Then do not send it by post, but contact us first.
Other places to hand in
You can also hand in old devices and batteries free of charge at your municipality's recycling centre, and batteries at the collection boxes in many shops.
See a crossed-out wheelie bin on a product, battery or packaging? Then it must not go in household waste. Never throw devices or batteries in household waste: lithium batteries can cause fires.
